David L Belitskus Sr. died peacefully at his sons home, March 12th in Hardeeville, SC. David was born in Cuddy, PA, South Fayette Township, to Frank & Stella Belitskus, and lived most of his life in New Kensington, PA, before moving to Tybee Island, GA. A proud husband and father, David was a Duquesne and University of Pittsburgh graduate. He was a Ph.D. Chemist for ALCOA before his retirement, specializing in carbon and ceramics. He furthered that career as a consultant and part-time chemistry teacher after retiring. After the move to Georgia, David could be found debating parking tickets as a seasonal employee for Tybee Island Parking Services which he enjoyed very much. David was also a big fan of Pittsburgh sports and various puzzles.

Preceded in death by his wife Diane, David leaves behind his son, David L. Belitskus Jr. (Nancy) of Hardeeville, SC; son, Dean Belitskus (Tanya) of Middletown, DE; son, Daniel Belitskus (Angela) of Skippack, PA; daughter, Debra Belitskus (Aroon) of Savannah, GA; 6 grandchildren; Kelsey & David Belitskus, Emily & Heather Belitskus; Daniel & Dylan Belitskus; and sister Phyllis Akbarzadeh (Nasser) of Sarver, PA.
